The Cunningham Family

Who We Are

Back in 2010 we sold everything we owned and moved to Chinandega, Nicaragua. We have grown to a family of six and continue our work and ministry in the driest and hottest part of the country. We are thrilled that you have found us, and would love to share with you who we are, what we do and, most importantly, WHY we do it.

What We Do

Access to clean, running water is normal for most of us. We turn on the faucet and clean water pours out. We are serving with Amigos for Christ to provide access to this vital resource in peoples homes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We go beyond community wells with hand-pumps or local access points, and pipe water into everyones homes. Yes, this is expensive, but we take Jesus seriously when he said, "Do to others as you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12. Being able to share with our Nicaraguan friends why we do what we do has opened the door for many conversations about life and faith. It isn't surprising to see how open people are to the kingdom of God when they can see and experience a glimpse of it up close.
